Cathy's this week's WTUI hostess and is looking for One Layer cards!
This sweet fairy was waiting in my stash. I colored the image and masked the image and managed to spill a big blob of masking fluid on the card. Thought I waited long enough for it to dry and rubbed it off along with the paper underneath! I stamped ferns along the bottom and a friendship text on the top. Rubbed off the dry masking fluid from the fairy image. Blended some extra green at the base and some walnut stain on the top. Now to cover up my rough spot. I had just received a card from Susan (One4Joy) and she wrapped some die cuts with pretty butterfly washi tape. They were the perfect thing to cover up the rough spot. I finished it off with a sentiment die cut from kraft and shadowed with black. TFL

Your fairy cards are so fantastic Carla and this one is truly gorgeous! I groaned inwardly when I read about the masking fluid blob, but you sure took your lemons and turned them into lemonade on this card. I love the colors and the vintage feel of this! ~Karen.

Gosh, the washi tape couldn't be more perfect for your rescue job. I like the earthy organic garden colour palette you used for this. And I love all those toadstools and ferns.
