I made this card for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge. Jacqueline is our hostess and she has chosen a delightful theme called, "Team Dogs or Team Cats."
Since we have 4 cats it was easy to make a cat card. Our mother cat is queen of our house so that is why I have titled this card the way I have.
I inked up the paw print embossing folder with soft sky ink, then ran it through the big shot. This makes the raised paw prints appear lighter and more pronounced. I added clear wink of stella to each of the raised paw prints, then set this panel aside to dry.
The large cat was stamped 6 times with black ink to get a good impression. Then die cut the oval panel using a stitched oval die. Layered this over a black loopy edge die. The Meow comes from the same cat set and that was stamped in soft sky ink. Meow is for hello on this card.
I had so much fun making this card for this week's recipient. I have experienced what our recipient is going through so I know how painful and difficult it is, but she is doing in during a pandemic. Wow! I wish her all the best as she goes through the recovery process.
Thank you Jacqueline for this wonderful challenge, and thank you for looking! ~Karen.

Karen, this is an adorable cat card! Love it! Your embossing, the frame, the cat...everything is perfect! I miss my cats. We have 2 dogs and DH says that's enough pets. They can be expensive, as I've found it with Sadie. Hugs!

Of course you have a paw prints ef! And it looks superb with this wonderful cate image. I love the floral body and the cool 50's look of the image. I'm impressed that he was stamped 6 times, but you did get a great image. Beautiful card.
