Oh Dear - Canva is one of those "rabbit hole" websites and I have been wandering through for 3 hours now. Time to choose an inspiration and get a card made . . . I finally settled on this invitation
I loved that you could see the bg through the glasses - now how to capture that . . . I tried embossing acetate and fussy cut it but when I put it against the bg it got totally lost. My next option was embossed vellum - better but still no "life" and I was not happy with how it looked when attached - finally I decided to just use card stock and lose the "see through" option but to capture a bit of the feel, I brayered a Royal Satin rainbow pad over the inside of my embossing folder before running it thru the Big Shot. Fussy cut and adhered to the dp. Computer generated a sentiment which was also fussy cut.
This will go to my previously teetotaller daughter who has learned the joys of an afternoon glass of wine since having to home school her 2 boys!

Fabulous card Linda. I think you captured the look you were going for because I feel as if I can look right through this bottle to the wonderful rainbow background. I have never thought to use a rainbow pad on an embossing folder before so thank you for the inspiration on this. Love your fun sentiment too! ~Karen.

Ha ha I home schooled my 3 sons for 16 years, by choice of course, and I never drank anything other than water and juice. Love how you used your embossing folder as a stamp; great looking wine card!

So fun, Linda! Since I don't know very much about wine, in a blind taste test I might not know the difference, lol. But the greeting is fun..also goes for cheap shoes, cheap coffee, cheap whatever! How is it that the older you get, the shorter the years are???
