For this week's WTUI challenge, which you can find HERE.
The washi tape was a Christmas gift from someone who knows I love seahorses, and because it was hiding right under my nose I had to turn the room upside-down to find it, sigh...
I made a bubble wrap background for the mermaid, who was a birthday gift from DonnaJeanne. The first one was too vivid, I had to stamp it off again to get this softer one. I used double matting for the frame. I added an extra bit of washi tape with two more seahorses above the strip I used a border along the bottom. The mermaid was stamped with Versafine Black, coloured with Polychromos pencils and fussy-cut. Glossy Accents on her shell bikini top, SN clear glitter pen on her tail. I gave her a half pearl to hold, and added the sentiment.
(The washi tape is Alexandra Renke)

The bubble wrap background looks fabulous for your underwater scene. I’m fascinated by seahorses after seeing a special exhibit of them at an aquarium. I like how you put the half pearl in the mermaid’s hand.
