I chose this quilt for my inspiration. Made the fence posts from strips of white paper, notched and shaped the tops, then watercolored them. Used watercolors and white acrylic to color the flower die cuts. Leaf and stems cut from a green scrap. The bg was from some mailer that I had saved.

Creative take on your inspiration, Sallie. I thought you had used a die for the fence posts until I read the description. I really liked that quilt when I was browsing the site.

I love when you create with these pretty black-eyed Susan's, Sallie! And today you got extra creative by making your own fence posts...good for you! Pretty card, like some of the homes in the country....nice blue bg to show off the flowers~

So gorgeous base on the quilt you chose. Your fence posts are excellent! Love what you did with the flowers and you had the perfect mailer for your background!
