I used a purple card base and chose a thistle as my image as it's purple. Stamped, coloured with markers, trimmed with a stitched rectangle, bordered with green, and popped up on fun foam.

With a Scottish grandfather you'd think I might have considered a thistle - never crossed my mind. And while they're definitely weeds in the garden, I always think they are very handsome plants. Love your card.

This is so pretty Susan and quite regal looking with these rich purples you used. I, personally, think thistles in bloom are beautiful even though I know they are a huge nuisance. The color purple you used for the card base is a a favorite of mine, and quite hard to find actually. ~Karen.

Great image and stunning card with it Susan. I need to use more colored CS for bases I always get drawn to white and really need to change that up once in a while.
