I created this card for Kim's "Just Add Water" Mini 1 challenge for Florapalooza, which required us to use the Tissue Paper Watercolor technique. Thanks for choosing this fun technique Kim! I really enjoyed it.
I created several pieces of tissue paper backgrounds with TH Distress inks. I accidentally tore my favorite background because I was too impatient to wait until it fully dried! Duh! Anyway, I decided it looked ok with the torn edges and decided to crinkle it up as suggested in the tutorial. I then flattened it back out and glued it down onto white cs. I lightly rubbed VersaMark over raised wrinkles and then sprinkled with gold embossing powder and heat set it.
I die cut a flower from black cs and glued onto wc background. I glued this onto black layer and DP, tying gold string around layers before gluing on the card. I added a few gold Stickles dots to top of black flowers.
I stamped sentiment with VersaMark, used black ep and heat set it.
