I was intrigued by the rainbow petaled teapot from the moment it showed up in the TEA-sers and couldn't wait for today's teapot challenge. We are making cards to brighten the hospital room for Railynn, a 15 year old, who is undergoing cancer treatments.
I started with a small piece of watercolor paper, scribbled a rainbow of markers over it then blended them out with more water. Once dry I stamped the peacock feather in versamark, embossed with clear powder then did a watercolor lift. Framed with Midnight glitter cardstock and adhered to my card base. I stamped the Poppy girl on scrap stock (This image has twice as many blooms as you see here and I wanted to eliminate some so more focus would be on the girl ) Colored with prismacolor pencils in the same hues as in the watercolor panel and fussy cut. Finished with a stamped and embossed sentiment that was also fussy cut.

Your rainbow and feather panel is just beautiful, Linda. That's a technique I keep meaning to revisit. I must slate it for a TLC soon. Your Poppy girl with all the colourful flowers is fab, too. It's a super girly card.
