We are sending our wishes to Sharon (smadson) this week. As many of you know she loves to travel. My card is showing her one of my favorite destinationsâe¦.Neuschwanstein castle in Germany. It was built by âeoeMadâe King Ludwig II of Bavaria and was one of three castles he commissioned. Neuschwanstein is the most well known and is the one that the Disney castle is modeled after. It's amazing in personâe¦.just like out of a fairy tale.
For my card I used this photo stamp of the castle by Darkroom Door. I stamped it in StazOn ink on glossy paper and colored with distress inks. I then cut it out and mounted it on a gelli print bg. The gell print was made using acrylic paint to which I applied twine that had been pulled apartâe¦.put that on top and then placed my paper and smoothed it for the print. The twine gave it a fun look and added some texture with tiny pieces that stuck to the page. I also added a bit of stamping using a crackle stamp in gold and gold embossed it.
Hope you can come play along this week and take Sharon to your favorite travel spot or even your state or country.

Love this beautiful, magical castle. Why build just one castle when you can have three - and they called him MAD! I would just be happy to glimpse a view of this one on my travels.
