An anniversary card for my stash using some Impression Obsession dies I got a few years ago at a stamp convention. The love arrow die, in particular, has been part of the NBUS team for way too long.
Die cut a square panel of black Bazzill cardstock using the largest of my well loved MFT In & Out square dienamics. Die cut the love arrow 3 times from scraps of gold cardstock. Die cut the IO heart grid hearts from scrap of red glitter cardstock. Decided on placement and then die cut the love arrow 3 times on the stitched black panel. Inlaid the gold hearts. Added the hearts and started assembling my card:
Card base
Shimmer cardstock panel
fill layer
Gold mat
Fill layer
Focal panel
When you see this card IRL, it really is amazing how much of a difference those fill layers make in the way the card looks. Such a simple way to add a bit of class to a card without cluttering up the design.
TFL!
