Well, I certainly jumped out of my comfort zone with the colors on this one. I've heard say this is a good thing every once in awhile, but it sure does color (no pun intended) how you actually feel about a card.
But onward...here are the deets:
The HAPPY is from Mama Elephant. I was struggling with keeping the colors separated, even with some masking, so I ended up cutting the stamp apart, reassembling on my MISTI, then pulling up the A and 2nd P before stamping the HPY with Altenew Moutain Mist Dye ink pad. I then put the A P back and removed the HPY before stamping with Memento Dandelion and Canteloupe (1 layer of each). IRL this gave me a pretty yellow-orange shade - brighter than came out on the pic.
Next I stamped the IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY sentiment (SSS) in Versamark on some black scrap card stock. Embossed in alabaster and die cut with MFT die. Made a second "blank" die cut for layering.
Stamped one of the pandas from Mama Elephant's Little Panda Agenda set and colored with Copics. Used a gel pen to decorate his hat and balloon.
Card was assembled using 2 layers of black (for dimension) and one thin card stock layer of white under my focal panel - just the right amount of depth. Attached my sentiment, panda and star sequins and called it done.

This card is fabulous! Love the colors, the sweet panda and how you finished off with the thin strip sentiment!! Great job using up some of your unloved stamps - hugs and tfs!
