Karen is fighting a battle that is well known to many, but is more focused when it happens to someone we know. Karen has been such a frequent and kind commenter on others' work here on SCS. We have missed her own beautiful work, but can understand the reason she has been absent lately.
All my good wishes and prayers to you, Karen.

Be still my heart Sallie, this is such a gorgeous card! It is beautiful in the gallery, and it is stunning in real life. This alcohol ink background is magical and ethereal all at the same time, and of course, I am mesmerized by it! I truly love this sentiment you chose and I love this image too. What a great reminder that life goes on and we need to enjoy every moment of it- I love that! Thank you so very much for your kind/inspiring words inside the card too Sallie. I so appreciate you making and sending me such a beautiful card during Christmas week no less. Big hugs my friend! Love, Karen.
