I recently purchased these wonderful dies from the Greetery and owner Betsy showed on the blog how to make her coaster buffalo plaid by masking and sponging - it worked like a charm! I colored the pine cones with colored pencils, sponged over the green greenery with two shades of green Distress Inks, added glitter to the pines and then splattered over it with white watercolor paint!
the base card is cut with the Noted: Scalloped Square die from PTI.
I have a dear friend who is suffering from ALS. She cannot speak or move accept for her arms and head. I send her a card every week as well as visiting - so this will go to her after Christmas.
Thanks for a lovely site to look through today Stacy!
I'm all done with Christmas preparations accept for baking some gingerbread cake cottages today - then I'm settling back to enjoy the coming of Christmas!
