Two challenges is a big deal for me, but this card needed them for inspiration. I started with some pieces on my counter leftover from this weekend's IC challenge star card. They were cut funny, the colors were a bit off, I had cut the main panel into three pieces when and idea went off on its own - these pieces were destined for the trash basically.
I peeked at the FS challenge and saw this fun card by Diana Gibson:
Isn't it pretty? She did a fabulous job on it. It gave me some ideas on how to use the leftovers from this weekend. Then I saw the color challenge today and it all came together. I slapped on a bunch more ink, sponged my sentiment panel (it was white), added in some more perfect pearls and gold ribbon, and, then, all the pieces came together. My blues are a little off but I got close.
This place is so inspiring!
Congrats, Diana, your gallery is super cool and I see several more cards that inspired me (several are in my faves gallery already). Thanks for sharing your art.

Goodness, Nancy, I just love this card. I LOVE stars....almost as much as sheep and snowmen.
