Cathy is our hostess this week for the "Let's Wing It " WTUI challenge, which you can find HERE.
I made this for a work colleague's birthday. Stamped and coloured the image, Inktense pencils on watercolour paper, adding Stickles to his wings. Sponged the edges with probably tumbled glass and then added Stickles.
For the base, I inked a stencil with DOX and ran it through the Big Shot (normal sandwich, 1 plate, paper, stencil, sheet of felt, top plate). I stamped some Gorgeous Grunge in green as a filler in the two blank areas. I added the die-cut flowers and some foliage. The flower centres were cut from shimmer paper. Stamped the sentiment and popped it up on foam - and then made a custom envelope to accommodate all the overflowing foliage. Last year she was on maternity leave and I had to send something mailable; this year, since I could hand deliver it, I wasn't too worried.

I know he/she loved this birthday card. It is so adorable, Sabrina. Fun flowers and a great image. Your special touches totally make it pop. Hugz
