This is for Lydia's fun mixed media challenge "Faux Reductive Painting".
The idea of this technique is to take a bright background, place on a mask, then go berserk with dark paint.
I am very attached to most of my 42,000 gelli prints so I went through my stash to find the dodgiest piece. I should have taken a before and after photograph, because this A4 gel print was dead set ugly.
I love how it turned out and it's going into my journal (as soon as it dries LOL).

Wow Susie no way is this or could have been ugly. It’s beautiful. 42000 prints...oh my...I’ve got a long long way to go. I must have a go at this technique. It looks so cool. TFS. Happy day my mate over East.
