Besides the four samples I made for the challenges, this is the only DTGD card that I will have time to make, I'm guessing. I wanted to do Nancy's because...well, I really wanted to. I sure wish I could do more.
Her challenge was based on a photograph of a bedroom with lots of texture because the colors were all neutral. She wants vintage or antique for her bedroom and craft room. So that's what happened here.
I used three vintage elements: a medallion from some old wallpaper, a charm made from an old ruler and a mother of pearl buckle. The wallpaper is white because I think it's ceiling wallpaper that you can paint. I rubbed Versamark on it and heat embossed with the two eps. Wrapped two twines around, tied on the ruler charm and the buckle and added the 'antique' definition from my trusty old dictionary. There are also two art glass stick pins, which are not vintage. More texture! It's all mounted on a Fabriano notecard with a deckle edge and the background piece is a powdered gel press print. That is a super fun technique. The dictionary text and the deckle edge on the Fabriano is for this week's and last week's WT.
PS it would help if I had the keyword right. Oh me oh my, I forgot the '6'.
