This card is for three Challenges but primarily for the Teapot challenge and a card for our very own Cheryl aka CherylQuilts.
For the technique challenge hosted by Sabrina aka Cook22 I stamped a background word stamp onto some watercolour paper then using the rose die from Penny Black cut the image out.
For the CAS challenge hosted by Kia aka Kiagc create a black and white card with a pop of colour.
I decided to cut four of the rose die in black to sandwich the printed image, give it some stability and pop it up a little (something Jennifer Mcguire often does) I cut a fifth image and decided to put this under the printed die. I inked up the greeting with a distress marker black soot and for the pop of colour the middle word in SU Melon Mambo
For the Teapot challenge Anita aka snietje asked us to make a card for Cheryl as previously mention. Anita said because it is so hot in Europe at the moment with record high temperature we were to use water either as a medium or in an image etc.
Mine is a bit of a stretch but here it is. I used watercolour paper and I spritzed my background stamp with a fine mist from a mini mister to get a better image.....and there you have it.
Cheers Marg
