I made this clock for the Letter R Alphabet Challenge.
The R is for the roses. When I saw issue 191 of Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine and saw the clock project pictured on the back cover, I knew I had to buy this magazine and make the clock. I stopped at GoodWill on my way home and picked up this clock for $3.99. Note to self, make sure clock works before spending a lot of time making the roses. Stamped the roses and leaves and colored them with copic makers. Die cut the pieces I could and fussy cut the remaining pieces. Removed screws from back of clock, then removed face plate. Attach roses and leaves to clock front using Scotch, double-sided tape. Put face plate back in place and set screws again. This is when I found out the clock did not work. Ugh! However, it was just a matter of lifting one the 2nd hands up a bit so it could move freely. Whew! This is such a fun project to make and one I will do again. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Wow Karen! Your clock turned out so beautifully with the roses and the word "bloom." Great idea! Sure glad it was an easy fix after all your hard work! Awesome!
