For the Tea Party this week we were asked to use a "face" when making a card. Well - this has just about been the undoing of me - stamped up a lot of images - but was not happy with any of them. Tried out lots of layouts, design papers, inks and there was lots of fiddling around - not producing anything respectable but making a huge mess on my dining table.
I really love this image of the little girl - so sweet and very vintage. I have framed her with some soft gold card and layered her up on to the green panel framed with a very nice border die from Gina Marie. Added the sentiment.
I am still not really happy with this card - vintage was escaping me all the time - but anyway - this will be my card for the Tea Party - unless I am hit with a huge bolt from above and my mojo returns.
Honestly - her eyes are not that piercingly blue in real life (he he).
Hope you enjoy.

This is so precious Helen. I loved reading your journey and I'm so glad you persisted, any teapotter would love to receive this. I have this stamp, but she has never looked as wonderful as this.
