Robin's F4A487 challenge is all about SUMMER-Make a card showing what you like to do in the summer or what you like about summer.
I LOVE the beach. And, I am ready to go. The white sandy beach I love is Orange Beach, AL and it also has a wonderful scrapbook store there....just another reason for loving that place. I should have just left the sand white as that is what it looks like there.
I used two stamp sets for my card. The sun, birds and sentiment were from one set and the wonderful scene from another.
My sky was done by swiping my ink on cling wrap, misting with water, crunching the wrap, opening and then placing it to the top of the card after masking my scene.
The sand and rest of the card was done with a brush.

Fabulous! I'm not far from the Lake Michigan beaches but they can be crowded...we Wisconsinites embrace the beach as much as possible in a short period of time and there aren't many options. it hasn't been beach weather yet, at least in my world. but i'm not complaining because i dislike the heat. Your beach makes me long for the other side of the lake. Lots of beaches there.

Fantastic job on the sky to go with your beach scene!
When I lived in California, loved going to the beach, which was only 8 miles away! Beautiful summer card!

Oh, Benzi, you can't do better than a beach with white sand! Your beach scene is beautiful and makes me want to go to Siesta Key Beach with white sand! Hugs!

I don't get to the beach very often (once every 20 years maybe) but my recollection of staying with my son in Newport beach is JUST like this right down to the rickety wobbling fencing edging the path to the beach. The DOX sky looks so realistic.

I am going to have to switch my foil for cling wrap! Love your sky and your beach. I love the pretty white sand at Orange Beach - so beautiful. The water there is so pretty too. Great image and card, Brenda. Hugz
