It's the last Tuesday of the month and that means it's Teapot Tickle time! You guys, I know that this gallery is going to be full of really cute little critters, but what do I collect? Fish. I love all fish, but most of all I love the largemouth bass. This is one of the first stamps I ever bought. I bought it even before I took up stamping. I just liked it so much. But I rarely use it. So I couldn't resist using it today. And, boy, am I going to be sad to see this card go. I had a lot fun making it. I started with smooshing DOX inks onto the blue paper and then stenciling some bubbles and spraying and splattering Mica Mist. Then I stamped the fish on some green paper and embossed. I sponged DOX ink onto the fish to color it. Then I added some white gel pen highlights. Finished with some torn black paper so it wouldn't blend into the background and my favorite "Keep It Reel" sentiment. And a bit of silver cord for a fishing line feel to it.

Jen, your DOX backgrounds are just amazing and this one is right up there at the top! I love this watery background you have made for your fabulous largemouth bass. I love the twine and how you did this fun, puny sentiment too. If my mother-in-law were still alive, she would have flipped over this card because she was a fishing fanatic. Fun! ~Karen.
