This is for the Sketch Challenge that I am hosting this week and the Crafters of Faith Challenge for the month of May hosted by Liz. The COF challenge is to use the Faux Pressed Flower technique to go with the Bible verse Liz selected - 2 Corinthians 4:8-9.
I had wanted to try this technique so I was glad for the challenge. First, I stamped the flowering branch. I carefully applied the glue stick over the entire back of each flower, and then I placed each flower onto the image and pressed down a little. Then I glued on the paper bow and I finished smoothing everything down with an acrylic block. I ran the panel through my Big Shot with the Square Lattice EF. I trimmed the panel down for this card, and layered with DSP. I stamped a verse that I thought complimented the theme of Liz's chosen verse.
Terrific technique that I will try again. I look forward to seeing what you create with the sketch.
Thanks for looking!

What a beautiful posy! Thanks for teaching me the correct definition of that word! Love how you did the technique on a panel of your card instead of the full face of it - really makes your faux flowers stand out! And the pearl centers coordinate so well with the dotted DSP.
