Smylin Stef is our guest host today for the Inspiration Challenge and she asked us to look at the SNURK site - what fun comforters and clothing designs!
I ended up making two cards from the same inspiration using the same butterfly stencil. This is the 2nd one.
I laid the stencil from Stamplorations over a panel of watercolor paper, shook Turquoise Brushos over the panel, and spritzed with water. I removed the stencil and dried the panel with my heat tool.
I die cut a butterfly to layer over one of the stenciled butterfly attaching it only at the center body area. I white embossed the sentiment on a strip of Enchanted Evening cardstock and layered that on foam dots. I brushed Clear Glitter wink of Stella over the butterfly and added an enamel heart to the center.
Stamps: sentiment from Build a Flower: Morningglory - Altenew
Paper: Water color paper - Canson, Enchanted Evening - PTI
Paper Size: A2
Ink: Turquoise Brushos, Versamark
Accessories: Shower of Flutters Stencil - Stamplorations, Butterfly die from - Birds and Butterflies die set - Eileen Hull/Sizzix, foam dots, enamel heart - Altenew, Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen

Julia, the brusho/stenciled background is just beautiful especially with the white butterflies as the end result. The addition and placement of the die cut butterfly is so perfect. Love that little heart, too!
