The card stands on its own, but folds flat for mailing. Instructions can be found here. I changed the measurements to make mine an A2 card, so I started with a card base of 5-1/2"x8-1/2", scored at 2-1/8", 4-1/4", and 6-3/8". I kept the marks for the diagonals at the same depth given in the video.

This is one gorgeous sympathy card with this beautiful butterfly and flowers. I love the blue/purple one, but this one is really gorgeous too. I love them equally because I cannot pick a favorite so they are both my favorite! ~Karen.
