It's no secret that one of my loves is dishware. I love everything from fine china to chunky pottery. I can't remember what I was looking for when I came across this week's Inspiration Site but as soon as I saw the banner I knew I had my site!
I chose THIS photo to inspire my design. Once again, I was inspired by not just one photo but all of the teacup photos!
I used Lydia's homemade gouache recipe: MIX314 to paint my wedgwood cup. I love how it feels when I run my fingers over it. Kind of like real wedgwood! For all the nitty gritty details check out my blog post HERE!
I hope you will join us and enter a card into the Inspiration Challenge!

Very cool using the torn edge masking to emulate your inspiration piece, Angie. Great sentiment as well. I just clicked on your blog, and I love the self confident look Storm has!

I knew what piece you were looking at, right away. Your shade of blue is right on and I luv how you shadowed the table the beautiful cup sits on look so realistic.

Angie, the cup on your beautiful card looks just like a Wedgwood piece. I can only imagine what it feels like to run your fingers over the gouache! You selected a great site for the challenge and did an awesome job of replicating the Wedgwood pot!
