Our Tea Party Challenge this week is to make a scene & our cards are going to one of our own, Tonda Baldwin.
Seeing that it is still hot weather here I decided to make a nautical scene. I sponged the sky & sea. Smeared glitter over so that the sea would sparkle. Used the dp for a jetty. Coloured the pier posts and seagull with Derwent coloured pencils & fussy cut. Searched and found this yacht on the internet, printed out and also fussy cut. I adhered to the sea using dimensionals. No sentiment, will write a message on the inside of the card.

Wonderful card, Sue. With your gull being bigger in the foreground and your sailboat smaller in the bg, it gives such depth to your scene....like it would be IRL. You did a terrific job of depicting sky and sea.
