I wanted to challenge myself to combine several challenges today, so I incorporated spring flowers for F4A471 Is it Spring Yet, Sketch challenge SC738 and Draw a Line for MIX318. I also wanted to make my husband an anniversary card that didn't look too feminine.
I stamped my image on light green cardstock twice. I colored my flowers with Copics, then put packing tape over them to make them shine and fussy cut them out. I colored leaves on second stamped image and glued flowers to this layer, adding green and red layers behind image. I used ef on background green layer.
I glued image to bg layer and trimmed off corners, adding red ribbon and saying to bottom, then glued onto light green card. I added 3 green sequins to complete card for the Sketch Challenge..

This is so lovely - love this red and green shades together. Lovely embossing too -- wonderful card!

Love everything about this card! The packing tape idea is interesting... the cardstock colors are divine. The swirly embossing folder is perfect with the flowers. Hope your hubby loves the card. Thanks for the inspiration!
