Had a busy day today but finally got to the Inspiration Challenge which is fineartamerica today.
I was attracted to this Daisies in Antique Watering Can image as it reminded me of a similar theme stamp I had from Rubbernecker called Bamboo Bucket.
There are two stamps in the set - one an outline (everything you see in brown here) - and the filler stamp of the inside of the bucket and the flowers.
I first stamped the outline in Vintage Sepia Ink using my stamp platform. Then I lined up the 2nd stamp over the outline. I colored the flowers on the stamp with Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Markers and the bucket with Pumice Stone and a little bit of Spiced Marmalade. I misted the stamp with water and pressed it over the outline stamping holding it there for a minute so the watery color would soak into the watercolor paper.
I dried the panel with my heat tool and then did a watercolor wash around the image using a light tan watercolor paint mixed with a lot of water. After drying that with my heat tool, I stamped the Thank You in black ink.

I like the loose watercolored style of your card, Julia. If you hadn't mentioned that you stamped it, I would have thought you did it freehand. A lovely card....and beautifully done.
