A big congrats to Joyce, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS to case. I really liked the tree silhouette w/ the square behind it so I kept those. But I used die cuts instead of images, added some layers here & there & made mine a Christmas card.
This is one of those âvery hard to photographâ cards because of the mirror gold paper. Itâs so wonderful IRL, but the camera just canât get it. The tree, snowflake, backing layers & snowdrift hills were all cut out of mirror gold. For the snowdrift hills I also used an embossing folder to add the snow dots. The Believe part of the greeting was gold embossed & the rest was stamped w/ twilight (navy) Versaclair ink. Yep, the Misti really came in handy for that!
Thanks so much for looking. Closeups, the inside & product links are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Such an elegant Christmas card...love the rich blue and golds together! Wonderful sentiment, love that embossed dot sloping and stitched snow with your lovely gold gilded tree.

This is gorgeous! Oh, blue and gold are spectacular together! You chose one of my favorites in the gallery. I almost used it myself! I love how you changed it up with your gold papers!
