Hello friends and artists! Welcome to the last Inspiration Challenge of 2019...I am so excited to bring you the Unique Vintage website. Recently the owner was featured in a business magazine. I loved her spunk! But when I read she had pitched the idea of creating Barbie fashions for grown up women, I just knew I had to suggest this as an IC.
I knew this Prickly Pear girl was perfect. I used an old embossed and glittered DP for her skirt and a Basic Grey green from the 'Dasher' collection. The Globe was embossed and colored with Gellatos. I cut out the packages from other old DP. Used the Stampendous Mid-Century metal tree and a Club Scrap star for the top. The Anna Griffing embossing strip folder behind her for scale.
I wish for everyone Peace on Earth. Be blessed and much love to give away. Happy 2019.
Thankful for our community...it's worldwide.

this IC looks to be made for you, well, Jean, she's the one who chose it, you silly. I can't wait to hear your details and look at the site. This is so sweet and fun, look at her waist!!!! Looks like Vera Ellen's in White Christmas!

Your card is so pretty Susan. It's cleverly constructed too with the gal, the gifts, and the world bauble. The message could not be more heartfelt. Please let us have a more peaceful world in 2019.

So many things to like on this card - the overall vintage look is captured so well, I love the dimension and the embossed strip, and the shiny tree in the bg is such a great detail!!!

Wouldn't it be fun to spend a day playing with our Barbie dolls? I have this image too, so it could happen, neighbor. Oh, the things we would have them say in 2019! What a stand-out, knock-out stand-up and shout "nifty and neato" card you made! It couldn't be anymore perfect.

This image you've used is indeed, perfect for a card inspired from that FABULOUS site (thank you so much for introducing us to it today!). My mother used to have skirts like that in the '50's and she always looked fantastic in them : ) Love the way you've paper pieced your lady's outfit. I think I need to go looking for that image because I LOVE it!
