I think maybe this qualifies for the CT0918 challenge as well because I fussy cut the flowers and leaves for this card. Having been a kindergarten teacher for 20 years, I thought the contrast of the torn paper and the fussy cut depicted the progression of skills that I saw as a teacher. Little ones who got frustrated with scissors ended up with more of a chewed up torn look along their edges in the early stages of scissor skills developing.

Wow, a kindergarten teacher for 20 years??? Awesome!!! I taught kindergarten in Sunday School for about 12 years I think....LOVE that age. And your card is awesome too!!! (My twin grands started kindergarten this year.....bittersweet. They are BABIES.)

I like the thought behind your card. Great idea to use the torn edges and the fussy cutting. I always say I was the best cutter in Kindergarten, but then I never got any better...

Gorgeous fussy cut flowers and the torn paper adds such great texture! I admire you for being a kindergarten teacher, you must have lots of patience and of course love for those little ones.
