I'm sticking to my news years resolution for the first time ever! I'm try to use up things that have been cut, stamped and embossed. Finally used about 70 pumpkins I've been tossed back for about 10 years now. Lol yes I'm a hoarder!
I'm serving up fat free pumpkin pi. If you're from the south you'd get the pun without me having to add the pie. Because PI and PIE are one in the same. Southern slang is a language of its own. My hubbys family agree with the movie Sweet Home Alabama, that you need an interpreter to visit. Lol
I grunged up the pumpkin, old small green Sizzix thick die. I used wink of stella, tattered angel glitter mist, brushing, color burst, watercolors and distress inks in various fall colors. I also added color and texture to the planks.

Love this card, along with your sense of humor and story. TFS Only thing missing this year not coming all the way to Sioux City is not seeing you. Think of you often. Hugs, Linda

Oh, sweet Tonda, I LOVE this card and love your sense of humor! And I did get the pi and pie! Adorable way to use your pumpkins. I need to do more of what you are -- using up what I've already cut or stamped. So hard to do these days with so much going on, but you are an inspiration. Having lived most of my life in NJ, I will probably always be a Jersey girl. But I sure do love the South and the warm weather here in South Florida. I lived in Atlanta years ago and was called a Yankee every single morning by the general counsel, and I never did develop a twang and never will! LOL! I still remember having to slow down for my boss and also having to ask what someone said or what a word meant! LOL! Hugs and love, sweet friend! xoxo

This is so dang fun, and clever and eye-appealing! Thanks for sharing the background story on the cards creation. I totally get it now! Delightful! One of my favorite things about this card is how very cool that distressed aqua color looks with the rich orange tones. Popping this puppy into my favs to study later. TFS!
