This card is for my DD#2, which is explained on my blog. In the picture, the Petal Burst embossed navy panel does not show up like it does in RIL; that is a disappointment! My main goal was to finish my Alphabet Round 8 Challenge (see below), but my card fits into six other challenges as well. Some are ones I missed for a variety of reasons = life happens!
#1. IC665 - Inspiration Challenge, 9/1/18: "Real Simple." My browsing the "Shop" area of "Real Simple" took me to Lulus, where I found a beautiful navy with white flowers, long, flowing dress, here: https://www.lulus.com/products/all-m...ss/355382.html that card colors and its white flower replicates.
#2. AOCC18SEPT - All Occasions Card Challenge, 9/1/18. I had 5 birthday cards and 8 thinking of you cards to complete for September. This was one needed in late August!
#3. SC711 - Sketch Challenge, 8/22/18. Yay! I did a sketch challenge!
#4. WT696 - Ways to Use It Challenge, 7/12/18: "Similicity Day" and Henry David Thoreau's birthday. This is a pretty clean and simple card for me, and I'm honoring one of the elements of nature found in many of Thoreau's writings: the flower.
#5. MMTPT504 - Teapot Tuesday Challenge, 3/20/18: "Keep on Smiling." Many things make us smile. . .for me flowers and hugs work!
#6. DD8ABC26Z - Alphabet Challenge, Round 8...Letter "Z". My card hosts a Zinnia for "Z" with the bonus: adhesive...card is put together with double-stick tape gun, Tombow glue, and glue dots!
#7. USEIT2018 - annual/ongoing. On this card, I'm using all new items that have never been used: the patterned paper, the "hugs" die, the flower punch, and the ribbon! I really need to quit buying things and then either never using it or taking a LONG time to use it!
Ingredients: Stampin' Up products: Cardstock--Whisper White, Night of Navy, Daffodil Yellow. Patterned DSP--Delightful Daisy. Dies--Lovely Words Thinlits (modified). Embossing Folder--Petal Burst. Punches--Daisy (three petal layers); 1/2" Circle. Ribbon: 1/4" Double-Stitched/ Daffodil Yellow. 3/8" Facet Gem. Other: EK Punch--Victorian Medium Photo Corners. Chatterbox verse (computer). Size: 4-1/2" x 5-3/4".
This is such a beautiful card, Carlene ! Love the navy background with white floral images on it and the big white blossom ! Love the sparkling gemstone on the top of the blossom too. So feminine and lovely card. Thanks for visiting my gallery and your kind comments !

I absolutely love how you changed your daisy into a zinnia, Carlene. The paper is perfect as is the e.f. you used. The blue, white and yellow combo is a winner! Thank you for posting this beauty! (And thanks for all your kind comments recently-it is good to be back finally)
