August seems like a blur. It was one of those crazy months for us. We had a tub/shower renovated to a walk-in shower, and it is nearly done - after almost six weeks (with so many delays and issues). We'll be so happy to be able to use it later this week. Sigh.
But I did find time to make a Christmas card for the Fan Club/Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge for September. I had started to use this sweet little angel for August and got sidetracked repeatedly. I was determined to finish it for this month's challenge, and it still worked. Coloring is done using Copic markers and some added pencil coloring. I went very CAS and matted the layers with red and popped the focal image over a sweet holly embossed base (to match the holly in her hair).
Thanks, Stacy, for another great challenge for the Fan Club/Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge. I am so happy to be making Christmas cards throughout the year! My stash is growing all the time, and I love it!
A big thanks for taking a closer look at my card! Wishing you all a wonderful rest of the week and a happy September! Hugs, all! xoxo

Oh, so adorable Cheryl! A really, really sweet card and I love angels. Love the added ef panel - just enough to give it that little "extra". I know what you mean about renovations. I've had 3 bathrooms and a full kitchen renovation done at my home. Whew - it's hard.

What a darling image Cheryl and so beautifully colored. Your framing is exquisite and I love the tiny bit of embossing one can see on the bottom layer. I'm sure you're glad to be done with the remodeling....it'll be nice to have your new shower..
