When I was trying to make stencil monoprints for another challenge, I ended up with this background - it used various blue Oxide inks and I added way too much water so lost all the definition of the stencil. Today's CAS challenge, "Stormy Skies", made me think of this piece as to me it looks like a very stormy winter sky.
I put it behind a circle die with a house and trees on its lower edge. Added a sentiment, trimmed the panel to a square, and bordered with navy cs. I ran glue along the hill line, the trees, and the roof, and added glitter.

You have had a fail that turned out to be perfect with just a little time lapse. I had one of these last week. That definitely does look like a snow stormy sky and is gorgeous with the little house. Fantastic Card! But then my favorite for Christmas is blue and white!

Definitely makes a wonderful snowy night sky! I would surely want to repeat this technique...it was one of those happy non-mistakes! Beautiful colors. Love the silvery glittered house and trees...like the moon glistening on the snow!
