This was done for Mary's Dare to get dirty challenge seen here. That sentiment is heat embossed on a scrap of the same piece as the base, and I also cut a hole into the cardfront and mounted this scene from behind. so both flaps of the inside of this card are lined. I probably should have used a thicker card for the scene as the neenah eventually started to pill from all the water and drying so, I just kept going and deliberately pilled more of the sand for more texture. I think this is wonderful Stacy. There are so many wonderful elements (including your paper peeling) and I especially love the dark lines you added along the outer water line. Beautiful.

Stacy, the pilling was very effective for the texture of the sand! It looks awesome, what a great watery scene. It reminds me of the many times I've visited the coast of Maine.

An inviting beach scene after I chase those birds away I'll never forgive that one seagull for stealing the sandwich right out of my hand. It's funny now but I was so hungry that afternoon!
