I sponged each color using a mask for the ocean/sky. The chair is on water color paper. I used blender pens and ink pads to color it. Added IBBG for the sand and reeds for each edge. When I saw this week's colors with beach for dessert, I found a photo with a colored beach chair and knew I wanted to do a card like it. Then I saw Sandie's card and fell in love with it so I used her idea to add panel 2. Thanks for stopping in! ~Roberta
*I went back and added a few seagulls~

Roberta, this is a marvelous card in response to the two challenges. I love the beach scene and how you worked in the cherry cobbler color on the chair. Your response to the sketch makes the card seem seamless. Great card!

Wouldn't I love to be there now! This beach scene is terrific! Your sponging is beautifully done. I was really smitten by Sandie's card too and you've done her justice with this version!

Awesome take on the sketch. Love the beach scene. The chair in the middle looks great. The seagulls are a nice touch. Very nicely done! Thank you for joining in the celebration of 700 Sketch Challenges!
