Sharing my card for today's Free 4 All Challenge F4A432 - Baby it's Cold Outside.
With the heat and humidity of South Carolina right now the cool tones of Kasiercrafts, Wandering Ivy paper collection, drops the temperature nicely.
I shared in one of last posts that we had traveled back to Washington, DC for a serious eye surgery that lasted for 2 hours in mid-March. Before we left for Virginia I knew it would be important to have elements that would be easy for me to see and use once I started creating again -- at least for a little while. This is where beautiful patterned papers and matching ephemera from the collections can be a huge help to you.
I've used Kaisercrafts, Wandering Ivy paper collection and some enamel dots, crystal Nuvo drops, and my beloved gold leaf pen (thank you Katie Sims ). Look at the depth I was able to achieve by just trimming around the antique clock! And that gorgeous Mix & Match die from Papertrey Ink cuts the vellum like butter!
This is also a good way to practice placement of your design elements. Grab a sketch and go to town!
Thank you to my sweet friends Robin, Susie, and Carolyn for hosting and creating samples for the challenge.
And thank you again friends for your visits, kind words, and prayers for a successful result to this surgery. Stents come out of my eyes mid-June YAHOO!
Love and Hugs,
Susie ~

Oh, Susie, what a joy to see you back in the gallery again, and I too am unaware of your surgery. That sounds like it was very serious, and I am so thankful that you'll be getting the stents out in mid-June! What a stunning card using the cool tones, and I always love your beautiful layouts! Stunning, precious friend, and we'll catch up soon. It's been busy in my life too (what else is new, right?)! Hugs and love! xoxo

First, I hope you are healing quickly from your eye surgery...by the way this gorgeous card turned out, you eyes must be better than 20/20. All THE details are lovely, and the gold pen touches look fabulous.

So many beautiful papers, colors, layers, the clock element, the lattice - Well I could just list all of the parts of this because they each contribute to making a completely gorgeous package!

Beautiful card and your flowers and foliage are so beautifully double stamped (sometimes getting just the right colors is the hardest part) You arranged the elements of your card's design in such a pleasing way. I like how you featured some of your "tools" in your photo as well.
Oh, Hi Susie ! I didn't know that you have been here so long !
So happy to see you here
This card is just beautiful! Blue is my favorite color and you have made a fabulous card using the KaiserCraft papers.
Thanks for visiting my gallery and leaving a comment.
Have a relaxed night
