This card is for today's Ways to Use It Challenge to create white details on the card. I started by embossing the Flower Garden embossing folder onto a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I rubbed the design with Soft Suede ink to make the image show more. Then I used some colored pencils to color the image lightly. I was still more subtle than I wanted to I used some Copic Opaque White and a toothpick to brighten the edges of the petals and add dots, I liked it better without the dots, but once they are there, they are there. I tore one side of the flower panel and sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. I accented the flower centers with champagne Nuvo drops. I layered this onto a piece of Raspberry Tart DSP and then a white panel. This was all mounted onto a folded A6 Soft Suede card base. I added a greeting onto a strip of Crumb Cake card stock, then punched a couple of white butterflies. I love using Soft Suede for sympathy cards cause it has this lovely subtle glow to the color.
