I've been making cards for about 3 years. By now I've given so many friends fun and personalized cards that they pretty much all come asking me if I can make special cards for their friends and family. And I tell them of course I will, because I make a card every morning and I have so much FUN making special personalized card. This one was WICKED FUN. This is for a friend that asked for a card for her nephew who is graduating from Old Colony High School and drives a white Jeep. I was worried that the white Jeep would be boring until I matched the card up with Sabrina's challenge to add white. Problem solved. I found a Jeep coloring page online and printed it out with the Old Colony logo on the tire cover. But I printed it on kraft and colored the Jeep white with a gel pen. I figured that way and spots that I missed could just look like dirt. I sponged the sky and muddy hills with Distress ink and splattered with water to give it a messy mudding look. I finished the back panel by edging it in white EP, because why not? It's an add white challenge.
Then I downloaded this special tire tracks font from fontspace.com and used my favorite graduation sentiment--and doesn't it go perfectly with the Jeep.
Thanks for yet another fun challenge this week, Sabrina!

Yes!! This is awesome!! Just looking at this gets my heart beating a little faster with excitement. Thanks for joining us for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge this week.
What an absolutely fantastic card! I love everything about it from the concept to the artistry. I like how you made the vehicle tilting, which gives it such a great sense of movement and the sentiment pairs perfectly with the scene. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
