Here's my card for Carla's great Surely, You Jest! Tickle a Teapotter challenge. Being a technique person, I featured faux techniques on the front of my card (faux stitching as well as real, and faux stamped leather), but there's also some uncharacteristic humour on the inside - which you can see [HERE.
Bandanna tech with IO CAC Paisley Crystal stamped on red and detailing added with a white pen. I stitched the edges with black thread and sponged them with black.
Faux stamped leather using the TUTORIAL in our Resources using Four Feathers on kraft. Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, images stamped with Memento Chocolate Brown.
Serendipity boots stamped on kraft and coloured with pencils. Faux stitching border, piercing on the leather, real stitching on the base. WRMK hardware and a knot of lace.

I love a card that draws you in. This card is one of those--you see the western theme and the nice western details and then when you open it--bam--you are somewhere else. Very clever.

I love all three of these techniques Sabrina and they work wonderfully with your image too. Super card and beautifully put together. I still need to try the faux leather. I love the look of it on cards.

Love the way the patterned paper reminds me of a neck scarf cowboys wear. The embossed feather background looks like leather and your boots are colored great.

Gasp! Sabrina, this is such an incredible card. I adore your faux leather panel that is the perfect backdrop for these wonderful boots. I was wondering where you found such great dsp, then I read that you made this. I am so impressed by this. Your stitching and white gel pen are amazing and make this faux bandanna piece sing! The inside of this card looks amazing too. But I have to say the outside is a true work of art. You absolutely took this challenge and ran with it with this fabulous card Sabrina. ~Karen.

LOVE this, Sabrina! Both inside and out! Because you know how much I love a good faux technique. If I hadn't been set on trying a new to me technique, I would have gone with the faux stamped leather. I think it's my fav. And looks so great with the feathers. Love your bandanna background too! And all the sweet embellishments.
