So excited to post this card! Melody (lacyquilter) and I are still doing our Natural Beauty challenge where we give each other a little nudge to use our mutual, much loved Natural Beauty set. Melody chose the theme this month and it is a recycling for Earth Day.
I started with some corrugated cardboard snipped off a SU! box (some good cardboard). i pealed off the first layer of paper and then painted it white. I added this week's color challenge colors (the closest I could get) and let them all bleed into each other. After that dried, I stamped the panel with the bg stamp in the step - you can't really see it but it is there. Then I took some of the panels inside some of my bill envelopes - those blue dotted or crosshatched liners you see. I colored them up with the leftover colors from my panel. Then I stamped and cut out some butterflies which works for the fussy cutting F4A challenge. I wanted a sentiment so I found an old Blessed stamp from SU! and use it on some vellum. I also tried to do a vellum butterfly painted on the opposite side. The butterflies work for the WT Get Buggy Challenge.
Such a fun challenge - any of you with this set can play with us - just let us know.

What a stunning creation Nancy! I love that you and Melody have your personal challenge with that beautiful stamp set. Using the Color Challenge colors in the background looks stunning and I definitely want to borrow this idea of how you created it on recycled cardboard. Gorgeous!

Oh, WOW! Nancy, you continue to amaze and delight me (and us)! I love how you used corrugated boxes, and now I'm thinking I need to attack some of them before DH recycles them! LOL! But truly, I love how beautiful it is as the background for your gorgeous butterflies! I would not have thought to use the inside of security envelopes. I love these floating over the wonderful texture, and I am so glad you've joined us this week for the Color Challenge! You rocked it, sweet friend, and I love it! Hugs and love! xoxo
