My card today will be going to a very special, sweet gal who just had knee surgery. The teapotters are sending cards to Carlene this week. The theme was the Antique Roadshow. Procrastinator would describe me....need to change that bad habit. Now when making a card....start with the envelope. Address it and put the stamp on. Continue to make card. Using a dig colored with copics and colored pencils. Wanted it to look old and weathered...embossed the die...reminds me of the tin tiles that adorned so many ceilings from days gone by. Taking my finger and gray chalk rubbed in on the die. Added score lines along with a border line around the card using a dk grey copic. Decorated the envelope to match. Lisa's challenge is to add a bug.....the snail will be my bug. TFL

Just stunning! Indeed, your background does bring to mind the tin ceiling tiles in old buildings; gorgeous. The daffodil and snail image are expertly colored... of course : )

Linda, your ‘antique’ card is a sensational WOW! Gorgeous coloring and the embossed details has a vintage Art Deco design with the perfect amount of antiquing! Love your match envelope too.
Woke up to about 6” on snow and tonight most of its gone. I see some daffodil leaves peeking out of the ground; the forecast should help pop them up
Your card is divine!
