hi there,
Today we are being inspired by the Antique Farm House site which is so totally up my alley since my home is filled with antiques.
I found this lovely cozy throw: https://www.antiquefarmhouse.com/blo...-chilly-season
When I think of antiques, I think of the old quilts I have collected over the years. I decided to try and create one using woven paper strips cut from an old magazine. Yesterday's F4A was 'Recycle' so it all came together well.
The strips are 1/4" wide...simple weaving like we used to do in school.
thanks for looking, https://snippets-karen.blogspot.ca/2...r-weaving.html
edited: it really didn't take that long to create...I glued the strips at the very top to hold them in place then I could easily weave the rest in from the side.

A standout in today's gallery IMO, Karen. LOVE the effect of your woven bg and the bold white die cut that you placed on top. With so much going on in the bg you had to pick an image that would hold its own.

I bet your house is beautiful! Lovely job weaving the bg, and the white against it is awesome, mf. Happy to be your neighbor today!
