What a lovely store for Christmas gifts. This ornament https://www.department56.com/product...e=&from=Search gave me the idea to do an Iris Fold card. Origami papers are used for the bird. The bg is several shades of distress oxide inks blended and then spritzed with water. I found the branches on my Cricut program and cut them. White acrylic paint was spattered over everything except the bird, although a few specks did get on the edges. Extra glitter glue was applied to the branches.
This card took me forever to make and caused a huge mess on my craft table and on me, but I think it was worth it. . TFL

Outstanding! Wow! Amazing bird with the Iris Folding. The sponged and water treated background is awesome. Love the branches, too. Terrific card! Very well done. TFS

Wow! This is one incredible cardinal done in the various colors of paper in your iris folding. This is a real masterpiece my friend. Your bg is really stunning and so are your sparkly pine branches with holly brads. Someone is going to treasure this incredible card! ~Karen.

Wow, Kandie, this is amazing. Your iris fold cardinal is splendid and that background is spectacular. I think the mess was worth it too...of course, I don't have to clean up after it!
