Of the many cards in my favorites, Susie's (susieaustralia) cards tips the scale to include a variety of magical delights as well as her genius use of household items such as spray starch & aluminum foil!
I used a variety of ink colors to achieve the sky along with the spray starch and a little help with water on aluminum foil. This card sure does smell good!!
I stamped the Penny Black image with Versafine and used a white gel pen to snowcap the branches & buds.
I paper punched the deer image and `frosted' him with white ink on sponge dauber.
I doodled the frame lines with a micron pen. I've always admired this look but a bit nervous to do this as I feel I would run the line off the edge! I practiced this many times before penning on the card. I added the red gem dangling from a high branch. Finished with stickles for snowflakes.
I don't have a fairy image and so here's my story....
Henrietta the fairy, had a family emergency which lead her to fly off so quickly, she accidentally dropped Rudolf's red nose and ended up on the snow covered branch. Using his super power, Rudolf must jump high to get it.
In the end, Rudy gets his red nose and Henrietta's emergency was a false alarm..... Her little sister, Hildegarde thought her pixie dust wasn't working, when in fact she inadvertently sprinkled sugar on her wings!
All is well with faith, trust & pixie dust!!
