I have wanted to try this technique that is all the rage but when I did I was a wee bit disappointed.....I did the one first where you just stamp all over the paper and then raise the words up and it was just too busy for me.....one of those things i like when other people do it but when I try....not so much......so I put my own little twist on the technique and stamped all over one page and then cut the letters out of that one but then put them down on one that was only stamped with the wood background and I liked this one better. In the end I piddled a whole day away playing with variations of this techinique and I was like......MEH. Anyway it's okay- just not worth an entire Saturday?? MEH. Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Karen, I forgot how much I missed the challenges and surfing the gallery. And your cards every week are SUCH a part of that joy. I LOVE your beautiful creations and I'm so glad to see you are still making cards. This is beautiful. Well worth a Saturday, imho.

Your card is filled with rustic charm; from the woodlook background, and the sponged colors on the letters! The sunflower and bow is super sweet! Beautiful card!

What are you talking about girl? This is fabulous! I love how you did this - I'm going to case it - and I love the letters popped up instead of stacked together. I also like that your stamping is on the letters! Very cool card, worth the time you spent on it.
