This is my 2nd sample for CC655. I am your hostess this week and I chose peek-a-boo peach, lemon-lime twist and early espresso for my color trio. Dessert Option this week is a fall theme.
Since I had this Painted Autumn dsp out, I decided to use it again on this card. I kept this one a little simpler. I cut a sunflower with a Cheery Lynn Designs die in peek-a-boo peach and peach parfait (retired StampinÂ’-Up). I wanted a bit of a color variance in the sunflower. My leaf is from a CottageCutz die. I sponged the edges for a little more depth.
The blessing word is a die from CottageCutz and I cut it in espresso cardstock. This cardstock is such a rich, deep shade of brown that I just love.
Stamped my sentiment in early espresso ink and added to a flag to complete this card. Hope you can find some time to play along with us this week. The DT has some great samples to get your creativity flowing.

Wow, how wonderful that the DSP has these colors in it! That's perfect for this challenge. I just received my paper this week but haven't opened it yet. I love how you sponged the flowers and the leaves. The die cut sentiment is lovely!

Stunning card, Mary. You did an amazing job designing it. These colors are hard for me to think how to use, and you crested such a pretty floral look. Thst dsp is perfect with your big sunflower.
