Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us the bright and cheerful combo of Peekaboo Peach, Lemon Lime Twist and Early Espresso. Our dessert option this week is to use a fall theme.
I love this new set from Stampin' Up!, Painted Harvest. It is so versatile with all the colors that can be used. My first plan was to stamp off for the first layer, and then full strength for the second layer. This plan worked well for the leaves, but not for the flowers. The peach color is too faint when stamped off—at least that's the case on Very Vanilla cardstock. So I ended up stamping it full strength for both layers. That worked surprisingly well, as the parts with two layers of ink are darker than the petals with only one layer of ink. I stamped off the Early Espresso for the flower centers.
After stamping the sentiment and die cutting the tag, I sponged Early Espresso ink around the edges of the tag and vanilla panel. Added a bit of Peekaboo Peach ribbon, and popped up the tag.

Barbara, this is the perfect stamp set to use with these colors. I considered using this set too, but I am not sure where I put it when I unpacked! But I am glad I got to see your card. Your flowers are lovely!
